Lari
Webmistress, Graphic Designer Wannabe, Geek
webmaster[at]driveshaftband.com
========================
Lari is moments away from getting finally got her GD degree and is currently inflicting her art on the masses. Already a web designer and computer geek/guru, Lari is honed her graphics skills at Westwood College, learning to produce graphic artwork such as some of DriveSHAFT's logo designs. She first heard DriveSHAFT when Marie Siu gave her a demo eons ago. Instantly hooked on the band, she jumped at the chance to lend her talents to the site. She can do art and she can code, making her the ideal do-anything kind of gal for the site. She's also desperately in love with Patrick, but that's neither here nor there.
Graysen D'Vinia
The Architect of The Frames
=======================
Been friends with Jilly for a long time. In fact, she's the one who introduced me to DriveSHAFT. At the moment I'm the website's layout designer, in RL I'm a magazine editor.
Beth
Delivering nothing but the finest in DriveSHAFT articles
=======================
Beth would like to say she was a DriveSHAFT fan from the early days, man. When it was cool. Truth be told, she was too busy studying and honing her small town college indie DJ skills when DriveSHAFT's earliest songs (and, yes, THE hit) were filtering into the cool kid's stereos and iPods and now-defunct Napster accounts. But a pitying friend sent her a mix cd with "Anchor," "Going to Ground" and, yes, "Everybody" on it, and the rest is, as they say, history: a history (actually she says 'herstory,' so please just humor her) of spasming and monetary depletion and waiting on the dingy steps of clubs hours before the band even arrives and yet more spasming. Now she spends her days gathering scraps of DriveSHAFT information and news, almost as much as she gathers wool. She knows the setlist to any given show as well as the back of her hand - probably because it's still written there in sharpie.
Kate
Rockin' the Graphics
=======================
Kate is an up-and-coming artist who has already received critical acclaim for her work in the graphic arts, namely photography and impressionistic painting. She was educated at the Chicago Institute of Art and Design, and her most famous exhibits include Yes No You Said You Loved, Ashes, and Thank You For the Socks, Please Send Sex. Kate is more than happy to lend her artistic talents to DriveSHAFT, one of her favorite bands and an inspiration for some of her art.
Lexi
Correspondent from Down Under
========================
My name is Lexi here, the Australian and New Zealand correspondent for STOF. I first heard DriveSHAFT on JJJ, our national youth broadcaster, which is our only alternative music source. Fell in love with the first single "Let Me Ride", and the rest is history. I no longer have any friends due to the fact I have pestered them all to death about DriveSHAFT (friends-"yes Lexi, we know you love Charlie, now go away, we don't like you any more"). I spent years being hideously jealous that the rest of the world got to actually see them live, until I finally had my chance to see them at the 2001 Big Day Out (and yes Charlie did touch my hand and no I haven't washed it since, yes that's three years people, haven't washed it in three years!).
By day I am a mild-mannered public servant, but by night I am transformed into a journalist. Well, maybe not a real journalist but I do I write for a street press paper called The Drum Media. The money is crap (they don't pay me) but I do sometimes get free tickets for stuff and get to meet some moderately famous people. Anyway, a run-in with Jilly in an internet chat room led to me being sucked into the evil lair of DriveSHAFT love called Second Tour of Finland (it has pink shag pile carpet and purple wallpaper don't you know).
Zap Quinnell
Road Manager Extraordinaire
========================
Next DriveSHAFT concert you get to, just look for the best-looking man on the stage and that'll be Zap, standing right behind him. As their head technician, designated bass tech and crew chief, he's clocked up more hours on stage than all four members of DriveSHAFT combined. He's also been to all the parties, all the meetings, all the sessions, everything. And when Jilly and Marie asked so nicely would he mind helping them with their little site, oh it was nothing special really, just a spot for sincere DS appreciation and as much hot gossip as they could wring out of him... well, he's here, so that should tell you what he said.
Cheers.

Thanks:We would like to thank all the people who have helped us put our little obsession on the web. First, to Joy, who was lovely about being sucked into our anal compulsive hell. Much of this would be crap without you, sweetie! Second, thanks to the last minute beta team that made sure all our i's were dotted and t's were crossed and drives were shafted.
